Board Member, Stacey Sher is a two-time Academy Award-nominee who has produced more than two dozen major motion pictures, most recently Quentin Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight. Stacey’s film credits include Oscar Best Picture nominee Django Unchained, Pulp Fiction, the 2005 Independent Spirit Award-winning Garden State, and three films with director Steven Soderbergh: Contagion, Erin Brockovich, and Out of Sight. Additional credits include AMC’s martial arts drama Into The Badlands, Zach Braff’s Wish I Was Here, Reality Bites, Along Came Polly, Get Shorty and its sequel, Be Cool, Gattaca, Extraordinary Measures, Man on the Moon, Matilda, How High and the Comedy Central television series “Reno 911,” for which Sher served as executive producer. The musically-minded Sher also produced the Grammy winning soundtrack for Garden State.

Kerry produced the live multimedia show BLACKOUT, a collaboration between PepsiCo and the NFL to celebrate the Super Bowl, His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s 80th birthday party and #808 and #909 day for the Roland Music Corporation.


EVP, Creative Development, Michael Frick is a veteran of the film, music and advertising industries, Frick has worked on projects for Apple, Google, Twitter, Cadillac, Intel, California Tourism, Marriott, AEG/Coachella, SONY and Universal Music Publishing. Frick aided in developing the music careers of Joey Ryan (Milk Carton Kids), Mark Foster (Foster the People), The Peach Kings and Jimmy Napes (Sam Smith), among others. At Shiny Penny, Michael focuses on creative and artist development, rights management, as well as brand partnerships, strategy and experiential design. Frick has worked on a wide range of Oscar nominated features, award winning commercials and music videos. He occasionally moonlights as a music journalist and DJ.


Marketing Director, Shane Wepprich is an authority in marketing, publicity, and branding. Wepprich brings over 6 years of expertise to the digital world. He began his career at an independent boutique agency working on various projects’ social media and marketing campaigns for major and indie artists. After leadingVirgin Record’s developing acts he moved into publicity for all of Capitol Music Group’s roster. With PR, digital marketing, social media, and branding experience in tow, Wepprich now works in management and production with Shiny Penny. Here, Wepprich is the Marketing Director and lead of the music division which consists of day to day management, artist development, publishing, and digital branding for all projects including advertising for Starry Nites Festival in Santa Barbara.

Business Affairs Director, Ajay Gosain sits at the intersection of music, media, brands, and technology with a concentration in the areas of music law, licensing and entertainment contract negotiation – including Film & TV, Concerts & Events – and the administration of music and related intellectual property rights. Ajay’s experience as an artist, artist manager, label executive and lawyer help him cater his services to his friends and clients as they navigate their way through the entertainment industry. Focusing on artist’s unique long term career goals, Ajay helps devise and implement strategies and time lines to help artist’s focus on their art while at the same time reaching their business goals. He is also a professor in music rights and artist management at Columbia College.
